FRANKFURT AM MAIN, October 6. /Dunyo IA/. A football tournament among compatriots was organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Twelve teams from various federal states of Germany participated in the sports event. The competitions united compatriots on a single field and served to strengthen ties of mutual cooperation and friendship.

Speaking at the opening of the tournament, diplomats congratulated the participants and wished the teams a fair and engaging game. Particular attention was paid to the state youth policy pursued in Uzbekistan, as well as the conditions being created for education, professional development, and the realization of the potential of compatriots abroad.

Following the matches, the team from the city of Munich emerged as the tournament winner and was awarded the main trophy of the competition. Prize fund and incentive gifts for outstanding players were provided by a compatriot - Makhmud Rasulov, Founder of “MK Key” company.

At the conclusion of the sports festival, a reception featuring dishes of Uzbek national cuisine was organized with the support of Sanjar Abakulov, Founder of the “Tashkent” restaurant, allowing the participants to continue communicating in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
