ТАSHKENT, October 6. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Algeria to Uzbekistan Mourad Hanifi, who is on a visit to our country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Glad to welcome Mr. Mourad Hanifi, Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Uzbekistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Relations between Uzbekistan and Algeria are steadily developing across all areas, gaining new substance. During our visit to Algeria in June this year, we met with Mr. Hanifi and discussed promising areas of cooperation. Today’s meeting was a logical continuation of that dialogue.

During the talks, we discussed prospects for cooperation in geological exploration of mineral resources and the development of promising deposits, implementation of joint projects, deep processing of raw materials, and the production of higher value-added products”.
