HANGZHOU, October 6. /Dunyo IA/.  Diplomats of Uzbekistan met with the Director of the Zhejiang International Communication Center Jiang Yun, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, Chinese side announced the center's plans to implement an international project titled “From Liangzhu to the World”, dedicated to the ancient cities of the world, in cooperation with the Liangzhu Museum.

Within the framework of this initiative, it is planned to produce a 25-minute documentary film about the rich history and culture of Samarkand in both Chinese and English. To create the documentary, Chinese side is prepared to dispatch a filming crew to Uzbekistan.

To organize the filming, Chinese side expressed interest in establishing contacts with the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, Tourism Committee and its Samarkand Regional Department, as well as the Samarkand State Museum.

It is worth noting that the city of Liangzhu, which possesses an almost 5,000-year history, represents the first phase of ancient Chinese civilization and is considered a late Neolithic culture of Ancient China. In 2019, Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
