Uzbekistan and Qatar agree on cooperation in training modern diplomats

DOHA, February 25. /Dunyo IA/. A Memorandum of Understanding on Diplomatic Education was signed in Doha between the Diplomatic Academy of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan and Diplomatic Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The signing ceremony took place during the visit of Abdusamad Khaydarov, Director of the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, to Qatar. He met with Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Khorr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, during which prospects for bilateral cooperation were discussed.
Both sides emphasized that, in the context of modern globalization, diplomatic personnel face high demands for professional qualifications, analytical skills and mastery of contemporary competencies. In this regard, the importance of experience exchange and the adoption of advanced methodologies was underlined.
According to the memorandum, the parties agreed to expand academic exchanges, organize joint trainings and seminars and develop research activities in the field of international relations.
