KUWAIT CITY, July 6 /Dunyo IA/. A one-ton shipment of fresh fruits from Uzbekistan has been delivered to Kuwait, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The export was organized by Uzbekistan's Expo Orient Fruits in cooperation with Kuwait's Star Fruit Co., with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan. The coordinated efforts of the parties enabled the resumption of supplies of Uzbek fresh produce to the Kuwaiti market.

The shipment included apricots, nectarines, large peaches, white peaches, plums, as well as watermelons and melons.

It should be noted that exports of fresh agricultural products from Uzbekistan to Kuwait had previously been suspended due to the situation in the Middle East. Given the absence of direct flights between Uzbekistan and Kuwait, the latest shipment was delivered via a transit route through Oman.
