Agreement Signed in Lahore on Supply of 200 Head of Breeding Cattle from Pakistan to Karakalpakstan

LAHORE, July 6. /Dunyo IA/. During a working visit to the city of Lahore, the delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan Farkhod Ermanov and Ambassador Alisher Tukhtayev, held a meeting with the Director General of the Pakistani company “Abdin International Pvt. Ltd.” Nawaz Hassan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of livestock development in Karakalpakstan, the introduction of modern technologies, and the implementation of investment projects.
In particular, it was proposed to allocate land plots to the Pakistani company for the implementation of projects on breeding pedigree cattle and growing fodder crops. Parties noted mutual interest in implementing joint initiatives in these areas
Following the outcomes of the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish a joint venture with the “Nukus Delisha” company within the framework of a pilot project. Furthermore, an investment agreement was signed on the supply of 200 head of pedigree cattle from Pakistan to Karakalpakstan to develop the livestock industry.
It is noted that the agreements reached will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of livestock breeding in Karakalpakstan, improving pedigree work and expanding the volume of local production.
“Abdin International Pvt. Ltd.” was founded in 2001 and is one of the leading producers of meat and meat products in Pakistan. The company's products are exported to more than ten countries, including the Gulf States, North African countries, as well as Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
