Iftar held in Cairo for Uzbek Students during the Holy month of Ramadan

CAIRO, March 16. /Dunyo IA/. An iftar gathering for Uzbek students pursuing their studies in Egypt was held on March 14 at the Development Center of the Al-Azhar Complex in Cairo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, Hasan Kodirov, the Imam of the “Siroj Solikh” mosque who arrived from Tashkent, attended the event as a guest of honour and delivered a sermon on spiritual and educational topics.
In his speech, Hasan Kodirov spoke about the spiritual and moral upbringing of youth studying abroad, commitment to national and religious values and the dangers of extremism and radical ideas. He emphasized that true Islamic teachings are based on principles of moderation, knowledge, and respect for society.
It was also noted that it is vital for students to maintain a close connection with their homeland, strive for knowledge and honourably represent the country’s reputation.
The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, serving to strengthen solidarity and mutual support among Uzbek students studying in Egypt.
