ABU DHABI, June 12. /Dunyo IA/.  Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiev met with active compatriots who are founders and executives of large companies operating in the country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the conversation, an initiative was put forward to create an interaction platform involving representatives of the Uzbek diaspora in the country. This platform is expected to provide comprehensive support to compatriots, assist in resolving practical issues, introduce newly arrived citizens to local rules and regulations and offer consultations on legal and medical matters.

The proposals of the meeting participants were also reviewed, and mechanisms for their practical implementation were discussed. It was noted that such dialogue platforms contribute to strengthening ties among compatriots, protecting their interests and promoting a positive image of Uzbekistan abroad.

It was emphasized that such meetings are planned to be held on a regular basis with representatives of various fields of activity.
