Tashkent plans opening of Saint Petersburg Business Center

SAINT PETERSBURG, June 13. /Dunyo IA/. A “Saint Petersburg” business center is planned to open in Tashkent, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with reference to the Russian publication “Delovoy Peterburg”.
It is noted that the new center will become a platform for the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
On its basis, it is planned to organize a permanent exhibition of products of Saint Petersburg enterprises, a presentation of promising investment projects, as well as the creation of a business zone to expand contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
In addition, a residential complex project “Saint Petersburg Quarter”, developed with the participation of Russian architects, is being implemented in New Tashkent. In turn, a trade and logistics center of Uzbekistan is planned to be established in Saint Petersburg.
Experts note that these initiatives are being implemented against the background of the intensification of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, industrial cooperation, and investment. The implementation of the projects is expected to contribute to the growth of trade turnover, the attraction of investments, and the strengthening of interregional ties between the countries.
