- On September 1st, Uzbekistan celebrates the 35th Anniversary of its Independence. The current year also marks ten years since the beginning of a new stage of systemic reforms carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to build New Uzbekistan.
Under the banner of new principles of development, Uzbekistan demonstrates impressive growth rates, the society is steadily advancing, and the well-being of the people is rising.
Since the launch of New Uzbekistan reforms in 2017, a completely new business climate has been established in the country, facilitating the continuous unlocking of economic potential and the accelerated accumulation of driving forces for development.
In 2025, Uzbekistan’s GDP reached $147 billion and the volume of attracted investments amounted to $43.1 billion .Today, being widely open to the world, Uzbekistan has become an attractive country in terms of sustainable development and investment.
China has become Uzbekistan’s largest partner in the field of investments, the total volume of which reached $18 billion in 2025.
Today's Uzbekistan, with its steadily rising international credit rating and the full unlocking of its market potential, has become the most attractive environment for investment in the region. The relations of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era between Uzbekistan and China are continuously deepening and gaining practical substance.

Olympic Village - one of the largest in Central Asia - has been successfully completed.
