A Young Athlete from Uzbekistan Wins the ADCC Open Tournament in Qatar

DOHA, January 18. /"Dunyo" IA/.The first ADCC Open tournament was held in Qatar as part of the ADCC League, bringing together young and talented athletes from various countries, "Dunyo" IA’s correspondent reports.
The Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) is one of the world’s most prestigious sports leagues in the field of grappling and submission wrestling. ADCC competitions are renowned for their high level of competition, strict rules, and international lineup of participants.
Uzbekistan was represented at the tournament by Numonkhon Rakhimov, who defeated all his opponents in the under-40 kg weight category among athletes aged 11–12, earning an impressive first place.
Notably, Numonkhon Rakhimov was the only athlete from Uzbekistan to compete in the tournament.
His victory at the ADCC Open, held in Qatar for the first time, clearly demonstrated the young athlete’s high level of technical skill and the strong potential of Uzbekistan’s wrestling school. This achievement is regarded as another important milestone for Uzbek sport on the international stage.
