Times Higher Education highlights achievements of Uzbek universities in global rankings

LONDON, November 10. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov met with Phil Baty, Global Director of the international ranking agency Times Higher Education (THE), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the British side expressed satisfaction that several higher education institutions from Uzbekistan have been included in international rankings and highly praised the strategic reforms being implemented in the country’s higher education sector.
Specifically, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, the National University of Uzbekistan, and the Tashkent University of Information Technologies were included for the first time this year in THE’s list of the world’s most prestigious universities.
It is worth noting that THE is headquartered in London and provides ranking and collaboration services in the field of higher education. Founded in 1971, THE has been offering reliable information on universities for students, academics, and institutions since 2004. The organization annually publishes rankings, evaluating the performance of 1,907 universities across 108 countries.
