Oman introduces visa-free regime for citizens of Uzbekistan

MUSCAT, July 1. /Dunyo IA/. The Sultanate of Oman has implemented a visa-free regime allowing citizens of Uzbekistan to stay in the country for up to 14 days, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The Oman Embassy in Uzbekistan confirmed this update, noting that Uzbek citizens wishing to extend their stay beyond this period can apply for an entry visa upon arrival at Omani airports.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan has granted visa-free access to citizens of the Sultanate of Oman for a period of 10 days starting from March 1, 2021, under a Presidential Decree issued on February 9, 2021, aimed at promoting domestic and pilgrimage tourism in the country.
It is worth recalling that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, visited Oman on June 26-27.
