Uzbek diplomats hold consular meeting with nationals in Czech penitentiary institution

PRAGUE, February 13. /Dunyo IA/. Officials from the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with Uzbek nationals held at a penitentiary institution in the Czech Republic, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, information was obtained regarding their health, living conditions and legal status. Citizens received necessary legal clarifications on current legislation, their rights and responsibilities and their submitted appeals were reviewed.
The Embassy confirmed that practical measures are being taken to prepare relevant documents, provide consular and legal assistance and facilitate the repatriation of citizens in accordance with applicable laws.
