LONDON, May 16. /Dunyo IA/. Within the framework of his visit to the United Kingdom, Shukhrat Daminov, Deputy Executive Director of the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation, held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of the educational organization “Kaplan International Pathways”, as well as the universities of Birmingham, Glasgow and Bristol, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed expanding opportunities for Uzbek youth to study in the United Kingdom, supporting access to international educational programs and organizing internships and professional development programs for civil servants.

It was noted that these higher education institutions are among the universities ranked in the global TOP-100. The parties also reviewed matters concerning the training of talented youth according to international standards, expanding undergraduate, postgraduate and scientific research programs, as well as developing joint educational initiatives.

Particular attention was paid to the scholarship programs of the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation aimed at educating students in prestigious foreign universities, launching joint educational projects, academic exchanges and strengthening scientific cooperation.

During the visit, the academic activities and living conditions of the foundation's scholars studying at British higher education institutions were also reviewed.

Following the meetings, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation, implement joint projects with practical results and maintain a regular dialogue.
