STOCKHOLM, March 1. /Dunyo IA/. On February 27, an online meeting took place between representatives of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan and Niklas Samuel Gunnarsson, Manager of the Swedish company Vious AB, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Founded in 2017, Vious AB specializes in providing engineering and consulting services for industrial and infrastructure projects. Its core areas of activity include engineering and technical consulting, project management, technical support, and the development of solutions to improve production and operational efficiency.

During the meeting, the Swedish side was briefed on Uzbekistan’s ongoing systemic reforms in the development of green energy, the mining and geological sectors, modernization of transport and engineering infrastructure, and the implementation of major investment projects. The parties discussed industrial and infrastructure project design, technical audits, and effective organization of construction processes, taking into account advanced Swedish expertise and investment opportunities.

Particular attention was given to the potential involvement of Vious AB in planned infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan. Following the discussions, the parties agreed to continue exchanging information on prospective project proposals and to facilitate Niklas Gunnarsson’s participation in the Tashkent International Investment Forum scheduled for June 2026.
