Uzbekistan and Poland expand cooperation in legal education and training

• 215WARSAW, May 5. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies of Uzbekistan visited Gdańsk University, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the visit, the delegation held a series of meetings with the leadership of the Faculty of Law and the university administration. Following talks with the Rector of the university, Professor Piotr Stepnowski, a cooperation agreement was signed between the two institutions. The document provides for the implementation of joint research and educational projects, student exchanges, and the development of cooperation in the field of legal practice.
The parties also discussed issues related to the activities of prosecutorial bodies, the specifics of the legal systems of both countries, and the provision of fair justice. Mutual interest was expressed in exchanging experience among prosecutors, organizing internships, and expanding practical cooperation.
In addition, the delegation delivered special lectures for university students and visited the forensic science museum. The visit resulted in agreements to launch student exchange programs starting from the next academic year, as well as to implement joint research initiatives.
