PŁOCK, March 10. /Dunyo IA/. Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, visited Płock, where he met with Andrzej Nowakowski, city’s Mayor, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Following the talks, parties agreed to explore the establishment of sister-city relations between Płock and one of the cities in Tashkent Region - Almalyk, Chirchiq or Angren. They also reached an agreement to organize a business mission to Uzbekistan in 2026, led by the Mayor of Płock.

The sides intend to foster cooperation between the Mazovian Academy in Płock and educational institutions in Uzbekistan, as well as to facilitate experience exchange between local government structures.

Additionally, plans include collaboration in urban planning, infrastructure development, improving the quality of social services and population management. Particular attention will be given to implementing joint projects in culture, sports and healthcare.

The discussions also covered establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between Płock’s industrial-technological park and the technology parks and free economic zones of Uzbekistan.
