YEKATERINBURG, April 5. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg participated in the international exhibition “Summer-2026,” organized by the Ural Tourism Association of Sverdlovsk Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

At the exhibition, Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was widely presented to attendees through brochures and magazines. Special attention was given to the country’s favourable conditions for foreign tourists, modern infrastructure, and safety measures.

The event highlighted Uzbekistan as an attractive destination for Russian travellers. Organizers emphasized that the country is not only rich in historical and cultural heritage but is also rapidly developing new tourism sectors, including gastronomic, medical, sports, agricultural, and industrial tourism.

Information on modern resorts, particularly ski resorts in various regions of Uzbekistan, was also showcased.

The exhibition underscored that such events help strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the international tourism market and are expected to increase the flow of foreign visitors to the country.
