New York hosts Uzbekistan tourism promotion event with trip raffle for participants

• 77NEW YORK, April 23. /Dunyo IA/. Events dedicated to Navruz were held in New York, during which the tourism potential of Uzbekistan was showcased, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was organized by compatriot Mukkaramkhon Egamberdieva, representative of the World Network NY organization and an active member of the Uzbek diaspora in New York. Her efforts facilitated the participation of representatives of Central Asian diasporas, Azerbaijan and Türkiye, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as the American public.
Within the framework of the program, particular attention was given to the promotion of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential. Participants were presented with informational and promotional materials highlighting the country’s cultural and historical heritage, including Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Kokand, and the Fergana valley.
In addition, a themed quiz was organized for guests to promote knowledge about Uzbekistan. Winners were awarded certificates for tourist trips to Tashkent and Samarkand.
The event also featured presentations of national traditions, a cultural program, and Uzbek cuisine.
It was noted that such initiatives contribute to strengthening cooperation with compatriots abroad. World Network NY has established itself as a partner of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York, with which joint efforts are being carried out to promote the country’s tourism potential in the United States.
