In the first quarter of the year, the tourist flow from Germany to Uzbekistan increased by nearly 50%

BERLIN, May 13. /Dunyo IA/. In January–March 2026, more than 5.2 thousand German citizens visited Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the National Statistics Committee, this is 1.7 thousand people more compared to the same period last year. The growth reached 48.9%.
It is noted that the majority of the trips were tourist visits. In particular, 4,336 German citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for the purpose of travel. In addition, 393 people visited the country to meet with relatives, 414 for business purposes, 44 for commercial reasons, 37 for study, and 4 people to receive medical services.
The increase in the number of arrivals from Germany confirms the growing interest of the German public in the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, its rich historical and cultural heritage, modern tourist routes, and opportunities for business cooperation. This dynamic also reflects the strengthening of humanitarian, economic, and tourism ties between Uzbekistan and Germany.
