Uzbekistan and Jordan elevate bilateral cooperation in the field of education

On September 20, 2025, in Amman, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Shadi Al-Masa'deh, the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan and the Directo of the Higher Education Council, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the meeting the parties discussed the implementation of tasks outlined in the "Roadmap" signed following the state visit of King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein of Jordan to Uzbekistan in August.
Particular attention was given to the prospects for cooperation in education and science between the two countries. Topics discussed included the exchange of students and faculty between universities, the implementation of joint scientific programs, and the expansion of academic collaboration.
Both sides emphasized their readiness to further develop relations between Uzbekistan and Jordan and to elevate their cooperation in the field of education to a new level.
The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan Davron Maksudov and the Deputy Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan Muhammadоlim Muhammadsidikov.
