Bukhara State University expands international cooperation through Egypt visit

• 330CAIRO, January 3. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from Bukhara State University, led by Bobur Namozov, Dean of the Faculty of History and Law, paid a working visit to Egypt from December 25 to 31, 2025, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Delegation held a meeting at the National Library and Archives of Egypt, where they examined manuscripts related to the history of Uzbekistan. In particular, a catalogue was compiled of manuscripts associated with the legacy of Ibn Sina (Avicenna).
The delegation also held talks with Muhammad Salama, Head of the Egyptian innovative company EFC Plants Tissue Culture S.A.E., during which they familiarized themselves with the company’s greenhouse operations and modern laboratory facilities. The discussions resulted in a preliminary agreement to organize a visit by specialists led by the university’s management in the coming months, as well as to jointly implement the project in Bukhara.
In addition, at a tourism presentation organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan, information was presented on the history of Bukhara and its key landmarks. As part of the event, an agreement was reached with writer and Asia expert Ahmad Tarabek to collaborate on a joint academic book.
