Iraqi business delegation explores prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan

• 348TASHKENT, January 13. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, a business delegation from Baghdad, Iraq, arrived in Tashkent via a special charter flight, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The delegation includes 17 officials, including the Minister of Trade of Iraq Atheer Dawood Al Ghurairi, the Vice-Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Salar Mohammed Amin, the Chairman of the Iraqi Economic Council, Ibrahim Al-Masoudi Al-Baghdadi and Special Representative of the Chairman of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce Amir Alavi, as well as approximately 120 leading Iraqi entrepreneurs and media representatives.
Iraqi business representatives cover a wide range of sectors, including food and agricultural industries, trade, construction materials, contracting, real estate, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, automotive, textiles, furniture, jewelry, petroleum products, as well as all types of services, such as IT, consulting, customs declaration, and tourism.
During the visit, the Iraqi business mission will meet with the leadership of Uzbek ministries and agencies, participate in Uzbekistan-Iraq business forums in Tashkent and Samarkand, engage in B2B meetings with Uzbek entrepreneurs, and visit exhibitions in electrical engineering, construction materials, and furniture.
The delegation will also tour the pharmaceutical cluster and food product exhibitions.
The visit is expected to establish direct dialogue between Uzbek and Iraqi entrepreneurs, discuss mutually beneficial projects, and elevate trade and economic cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
