Tashkent and industrial regions drive growth of Uzbekistan’s export potential

ТАSHKENT, March 11. /Dunyo IA/.  In 2025, Tashkent emerged as the leader among Uzbekistan’s regions in exports, reaching USD 6.6 billion, which significantly surpasses the export figures of other regions in the country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the National Statistics Committee, Tashkent’s exports of USD 6.6 billion accounted for nearly 20% of Uzbekistan’s total exports, which amounted to USD 33.8 billion in 2025.

The largest export regions after Tashkent were:

Tashkent Region – USD 2.2 billion

Navoiy Region – USD 1.4 billion

Andijan Region – USD 1.3 billion

Samarkand Region – USD 1.2 billion

Fergana Region – USD 1.1 billion

Following them:

Namangan Region – USD 722.6 million

Kashkadarya Region – USD 513.5 million

Surkhandarya Region – USD 507.5 million

Khorezm Region – USD 435.7 million

Republic of Karakalpakstan – USD 435.2 million

Bukhara Region – USD 414 million

Sirdarya Region – USD 283.1 million

Jizzakh Region – USD 272.3 million

Statistics demonstrate that the capital and industrially developed regions remain the key drivers of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade. The concentration of export potential in major economic centers indicates an expansion of production capacities, intensified foreign economic activity and the strengthening of the country's position in global markets.
