“Uzbekistan Days” for schoolchildren held in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, April 8. /Dunyo IA/.  Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the “GAINS Education Group” organized an “Uzbekistan Days” exhibition at one of the international schools within the group, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was held in an uplifting and cordial atmosphere. Participants were briefed on the history of our country, with a particular focus on its significant role along the Great Silk Road.

As part of the project, the school campus was transformed into a large interactive marketplace, where students took on the roles of traders, entrepreneurs, historians, and designers. They created and presented exhibition stands under the theme “Civilization Inspired by the Ancient Silk Road”.

Each stand operated not merely as a conventional school project with poster displays, but functioned as a micro-business, providing students with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge within a real-world context outside the classroom.

During the exhibition, guests used specialized coupons to engage with student-merchants, who not only presented Uzbek goods but also shared the findings of their research.

Furthermore, Uzbekistan’s national culture and arts were extensively showcased, with handicraft and applied art samples garnering significant interest.

Inspired by this practical project, the leadership of the “GAINS Education Group” along with guests and students, reached an agreement to continue their research and cooperation with Uzbekistan in this direction.

“GAINS Education Group” was founded in 2017 by Malaysian educational experts and entrepreneurs Zaliza Alias and Mohd Hafiz. The company provides a comprehensive range of educational services, from preschool to secondary levels. It operates three international schools, three educational academies, and 70 private educational centers. The company’s core mission is to provide schooling for the younger generation that integrates modern knowledge with core values and moral education.
