PARIS, February 17. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Public Fund for Supporting Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis and Association of Business Women “Tadbirkor Ayol”, organized a visit of a delegation of women entrepreneurs to France, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

As part of the visit in Paris, the “Made in Uzbekistan” Trade House of Uzbek Handicrafts was officially opened. The opening ceremony was attended by Nodir Ganiev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Sayyora Juraeva, Director of the Tashkent City Center for Women’s Support, the visiting women entrepreneurs, as well as Uzbek nationals engaged in business activities in France.

It was emphasized that the Trade House holds social significance, as it will facilitate the sale of handicraft products made by women and persons with disabilities. The primary objective of the Trade House is to showcase and promote national products made by women artisans to the broader public in France and create a space for cultural dialogue between the two countries.

A meeting was also held at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the entrepreneurs from the delegation. Discussions focused on the further development of the Trade House’s activities, the promotion of national products and Uzbek brands in France and proposals for implementing joint projects in various areas of bilateral cooperation, including the economy, early childhood education, culture and other fields.

The delegation also visited and became acquainted with the activities of the “Maison de l’Ouzbekistan” boutique gallery, established in 2020.

The opening of the “Made in Uzbekistan” Trade House in Paris marked another practical step towards expanding opportunities for promoting and marketing the products of Uzbek entrepreneurs and artisans in the French market and other European countries.
