SAINT PETERSBURG, February 18. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan, together with members of the Uzbek community, hosted the event “Building bridges with sunny Uzbekistan”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The gathering brought together business representatives, members of the Uzbek diaspora, and figures from the cultural and educational sectors. The event aimed to promote Uzbekistan’s traditions and culture, highlight the country’s tourism potential and discuss business opportunities for cooperation.

Uzbek diplomats welcomed attendees and expressed hopes for the continued warm development of relations between cities and countries. Speeches were delivered by Nezmatjon Mamadjanov, Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Regional Public Organisation “Center for support and development of Uzbek culture - Uzbek Diaspora” and Liliana Streltsova, Project Manager of “Connecting bridges”.

Participants received detailed presentations on Uzbek customs, hospitality traditions, investment potential and emerging opportunities within the country. Representatives from the travel companies “Malterra” and “AeroTour” also spoke, showcasing travel routes and tourism programmes designed for residents of Saint Petersburg.
