TASHKENT, May 16 /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation today with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Muhammad Ishaq Dar, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Had a warm and substantive phone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Exchanged views on the current regional situation and noted the importance of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability.
Also discussed the positive dynamics of Uzbekistan–Pakistan relations and prospects for their further expansion. Particular attention was paid to enhancing trade and economic cooperation, strengthening collaboration in transport and logistics, and advancing regional connectivity.
Underscored the importance of ensuring the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and maintaining close dialogue between the foreign ministries of our two countries”.
