Pakistani Media highlight cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan

A number of Pakistani media outlets, including popular publications such as “Global News Pakistan”, “Pakistan In The World”, “The Gulf Observer”, “The Diplomatic Insight”, “Infora News” and “The World News” are widely covering the developing cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Their publications note that cultural ties are one of the key factors uniting the two states. It is emphasized that this interaction helps strengthen the historical, spiritual and cultural proximity of the peoples and in recent years, cooperation has reached a new level through festivals, concerts, film and theater events.
The authors of the articles also point to the important role of mutual visits and the friendly relations between the leaders of the two countries, which contribute to the further development of cooperation in the field of culture and art.
According to the reports, over the past four years, the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan and his deputies have visited Tajikistan 11 times, while representatives from the Tajik side have made 8 visits to Uzbekistan, demonstrating the stable development of bilateral ties.
It is noted that within the framework of this cooperation, Cultural Days are regularly held in both countries. Furthermore, “Friendship Evening” concerts featuring the heads of the two states have taken place.
Special attention is given to cooperation in the field of cinema. Specifically, a memorandum was signed between the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan and the state film studio “Tajikfilm” for the production of the feature film “Radiance of the Stars: Jami and Navoi”, which has already been completed.
In the future, there are plans to hold Tajik Culture and Cinema Days in Uzbekistan, organize “Friendship Evening” concerts, theater tours and the “Navruzi Olam” meeting of three generations.
