BISHKEK, March 23. /Dunyo IA/. The Kyrgyzstan news agency “24.kg” has published an article about the opening of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publication notes that during the opening ceremony, the head of state emphasized the importance of peace, stability and social harmony, especially in light of the current volatile international situation.

The center is regarded as one of the country's largest spiritual, educational and scientific projects. It reflects the millennia-old history of Uzbekistan, its rich cultural heritage and the nation's contribution to world civilization.

It is reported that the complex is located near the Hazrati Imam ensemble and covers approximately 10 hectares. It features exhibits dedicated to various historical eras and houses one of the oldest manuscripts of the Quran - Mushaf of Othman.

It is emphasized that the project's implementation has received broad support from the international community and is aimed at preserving and popularizing national heritage, as well as developing scientific and cultural cooperation with foreign organizations.
