ISLAMABAD, May 20. /Dunyo IA/. As part of an official visit to the Punjab province, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev toured the operations of “Indus Group” and held talks with its Executive Director, Abid Hafeez, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Pakistani side was briefed on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan's textile sector, the favourable business climate created for foreign investors, tax and customs incentives and support mechanisms for export-oriented production.

The parties discussed expanding industrial cooperation between the two states and implementing joint projects, including the supply of finished fabrics from Uzbekistan to meet the needs of the company's factories in Jordan and Egypt.
