ANKARA, August 30. /Dunyo IA/.   Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Khaydarov, met with Minister of Family and Social Services of Türkiye, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Turkish Minister congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the upcoming 35^th Anniversary of State Independence and expressed her best wishes.

Mahinur Göktaş noted that she closely follows the work being carried out in New Uzbekistan to protect the rights and legitimate interests of women, as well as to support them and highly appreciates the measures being implemented in this direction.

“As Turkic peoples, we share a common history in which women have always occupied a special place in the family and society. Türkiye will always be pleased to cooperate with you in this field, as well as to share our existing experience and new developments”, Minister emphasized.

Minister Mahinur Göktaş also noted that interaction with the National Social Protection Agency of Uzbekistan and the State Committee for Family and Women Affairs continues effectively, and expressed her intention to impart additional momentum to these contacts and contribute to their further development during her upcoming visit to Uzbekistan in the near future.
