More than 300 Chinese companies explore Uzbekistan's Investment Opportunities at International Forum

• 85CHANGSHA, July 7. /Dunyo IA/. A presentation showcasing Uzbekistan’s investment potential was hosted in Hunan Province, aimed at broadening Uzbek-Chinese interregional economic cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Consul General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou Sultonbek Imamov, participated in a series of events within the framework of the “International Green Intelligent Construction and Building Industrialization Expo”.
During the forum, a comprehensive presentation on Uzbekistan’s investment opportunities was delivered. The event participants, including representatives from the provincial government and over 300 companies, were briefed on the country’s key economic growth indicators, alongside detailed insights into the progress of consecutive structural reforms.
As part of the business program, B2B meetings were also convened, during which the highly favourable conditions and incentives established in Uzbekistan for foreign investors were thoroughly outlined to the business executives.
Particular attention was dedicated to meetings with leading corporations from Hunan Province. During the negotiations, the current status of ongoing joint projects was discussed in detail, along with prospects for new investment agreements in the fields of construction, engineering, pharmaceuticals and “green” industrial projects.
Furthermore, negotiations were held in the provincial capital with the Foreign Affairs Office and the Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Hunan Province. The sides reviewed measures aimed at further intensifying interregional trade, economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
As a result of the events, a series of agreements was reached. In particular, the parties coordinated the organization of economic events within the framework of upcoming visits by regional Khokimiyat delegations to China. Additionally, agreements were secured to host a series of presentations showcasing Uzbekistan's investment and export potential at the international forum “Sister City Economic and Trade Cooperation for a Better Future”, scheduled to take place this September in Changsha.
