President of India receives Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, August 3. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with President of India Droupadi Murmu, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Pleased to be received by H.E. Droupadi Murmu, President of the Republic of India, today in New Delhi, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - At the outset of the meeting, we conveyed the warmest greetings and best wishes from H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Exchanged views on further enhancing political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
Also discussed current regional and international issues, as well as prospects for cooperation within international organizations.
Expressing our sincere appreciation to H.E. President Droupadi Murmu for the warm reception, we reaffirmed the readiness of the foreign ministries of our two countries to continue working closely together to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and India”.
