TASHKENT, August 3. /Dunyo IA/.   A total of 478 heads of dairy and beef cattle have been exported to Uzbekistan from Wuzhong City in China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in north-western China, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to China’s “Xinhua” Information Agency, since November 2025, Wuzhong has already supplied Uzbekistan with more than 1,700 heads of cattle, the majority of which were dairy cows.

Local authorities confirmed to the agency that all exports complied with veterinary and sanitary requirements. Each animal was accompanied by documents certifying disinfection and immunization, as well as a quarantine certificate.

Wuzhong Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs highlighted the city’s key advantages in exporting dairy cows to Uzbekistan. Local dairy cows are characterized by high productivity and superior genetic quality. The city has maintained high standards in the prevention and control of epizootic diseases for many years. In addition, Wuzhong and Central Asian countries share similar climatic conditions. Dairy cows bred in the region are better adapted to the natural environment and feed supply conditions in Central Asia.
