BAGHDAD, February 1. /Dunyo IA/. A business delegation from Uzbekistan has arrived in Baghdad to participate in the Baghdad International Fair under the national brand “Made in Uzbekistan”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The delegation includes representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, the Association of Exporters, The Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, the Agency for Plant Quarantine and Protection, the Association of Jewelry Industry, as well as JSC “Uzavtosanoat”, the “Uzcharmsanoat” Association, the “Uzeltechsanoat” Association, entrepreneurs, and media representatives.

Uzbek entrepreneurs will present their products at the national pavilion “Made in Uzbekistan”. Notably, this is the first time Uzbekistan is participating in the Baghdad International Fair as an honorary guest.

Additionally, an Iraq-Uzbekistan business forum is planned, along with B2B and B2G meetings. During the visit, Uzbek entrepreneurs also intend to explore wholesale markets in their sectors, hold negotiations with companies, and familiarize themselves with product reception points and warehouse infrastructure.

Overall, the visit of the Uzbek business delegation to Iraq is expected to facilitate direct dialogue between entrepreneurs of the two countries, discuss mutually beneficial projects, increase exports of Uzbek products to the Iraqi market, and elevate trade and economic cooperation to a new level.
