Medical experts of Uzbekistan set to advance skills in London

LONDON, December 7. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Ravshan Usmanov held a meeting with David Huff, Director of Business Development at the University College London’s UCL Global Business School for Health (UCL GBSH) in London, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The UCL Global Business School for Health (UCL GBSH), the world’s first business school dedicated exclusively to human health, is located on the UCL East Marshgate campus in London. The institution trains specialists in healthcare, business management, innovation, and the global health economy. Its key programs include the MBA in Health, master’s and bachelor’s degrees, PhD programs, and Executive Education.

UCL GBSH also develops short-term training courses and leadership programs for healthcare professionals, equipping them with the skills and expertise necessary to drive innovation and excellence in the medical sector worldwide.

University College London (UCL), founded in 1826, consistently ranks among the world’s top ten universities. Its affiliated institutions, "UCL Hospitals" and the "UCL Medical School", are recognized as some of the most prestigious faculties within the university, offering world-class education, research, and clinical training in medicine.

David Huff, Director of Business Development at UCL Global Business School for Health (UCL GBSH), praised the ongoing healthcare reforms in Uzbekistan and expressed his institution’s readiness to collaborate on the identified areas of development.

It was highlighted that cooperation with UCL Global Business School for Health (UCL GBSH) could be developed in key areas such as medical management, hospital administration, healthcare system development, education, scientific research, and leadership training.

As part of the programmes, participants from Uzbekistan will gain firsthand insights into the operations of British hospitals and the United Kingdom’s "National Health Service" (NHS).

The courses will provide both theoretical and practical knowledge aimed at improving the functioning of healthcare institutions in Uzbekistan and supporting the implementation of modern management systems.
