Serbia to host a series of cultural events marking the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan

BELGRADE, August 20. /Dunyo IA/. With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan with residence in Budapest, online negotiations were held between the Ministry of Culture of our country and the Ministry of Culture of Serbia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Talks were attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, Director of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, Assistant Minister of Culture of Serbia Stanko Blagojević and General Manager of the National Theatre in Belgrade Dragoljub Bajić.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed practical matters concerning the further development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the expansion of professional contacts between the leading cultural institutions of the two countries, and the implementation of joint creative projects dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan.
Moving forward, the sides intend to continue the execution of joint cultural initiatives, including the exchange of performing arts groups, the organization of Culture Days, the enhancement of theatrical and musical collaboration, as well as joint cinematic and documentary projects.
Cultural dialogue stands as one of the vital components of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Serbia and the upcoming events are destined to further strengthen mutual understanding, friendship and closeness between the two nations.
