Presentations by Uzbek Entrepreneurs held in Kuala Lumpur within the framework of the International “Business Diplomacy” Project

• 279KUALA LUMPUR, April 20. /Dunyo IA/. Within the framework of the international project “Business Diplomacy”, a presentation of Uzbek entrepreneurs was held in Kuala Lumpur with the participation of representatives of the Malaysian business community, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the form of a business dialogue aimed at strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries. The forum brought together more than 100 entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders from Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
The main objective of the forum was to establish direct contacts between participants of the Business Diplomacy project and leading Malaysian companies, explore investment and trade opportunities and hold negotiations on the implementation of joint projects.
During the event, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomidin Gadoyev presented information on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at improving the investment and business climate, as well as on the conditions being created for foreign investors.
Head of the Business Diplomacy project Mirshod Shakirov noted that Uzbekistan currently offers favourable conditions for starting a business and implementing joint projects, and invited Malaysian entrepreneurs to cooperate and explore new markets in Central Asia.
Within the framework of the program, project participants presented their business initiatives and proposals for cooperation. Discussions focused on prospects for collaboration in the fields of services, construction, education, green energy, retail and wholesale trade, export and import of goods, information technology, finance, insurance and tourism.
Malaysian entrepreneurs noted the positive developments in Uzbekistan and the favourable conditions for doing business, emphasizing that such meetings serve as an effective platform for practical business dialogue.
As a result of the event, an agreement was reached to organize separate trade missions of Malaysian companies to Uzbekistan, within the framework of which negotiations are planned with participants of the "Business Diplomacy" project on specific areas of cooperation.
