Issues of developing Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan discussed in Tokyo

TOKYO, August 5. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov met with Takako Suzuki, Member of the House of Representatives of the National Diet of Japan, Director-General of the Public Relations Bureau of the Liberal Democratic Party and Member of the Parliamentary League of Friendship with Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Japan, the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, as well as issues of further intensifying inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Furthermore, an exchange of views took place on the issues of continuing the political dialogue between the two countries, expanding interregional cooperation and promoting joint initiatives in trade, economic, investment, educational, tourism, agricultural, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

Japanese side expressed its readiness to further facilitate the strengthening of multifaceted cooperation with Uzbekistan, as well as the organization of mutual visits and joint events.
