MUSCAT, April 22. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abdausalom Khatamov held a meeting with Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal Al-Rawas, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues related to expanding cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, increasing mutual trade turnover, and in particular boosting exports of fruits and vegetables, which are in high demand on the Omani market.

Sheikh Faisal Al-Rawas noted that relations between the two countries have reached a new level in recent years, with positive developments observed across all sectors and a number of joint projects being successfully implemented.

The sides also considered the organization of business missions and exhibitions aimed at promoting Uzbek agricultural and horticultural products in Oman and establishing direct contacts with local buyers.

In addition, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman was invited to take part in the V Tashkent International Investment Forum, scheduled to be held on June 16–19 this year.
