Japanese Companies plan to employ around 1,000 skilled workers from Uzbekistan annually

• 617TOKYO, April 27. /Dunyo IA/. With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of our country in Tokyo, a series of negotiations were held with the Japanese companies “Proud Partners”, “Izumi Logistics” and “Company Action”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meetings, projects aimed at teaching Uzbek citizens language and professional skills, followed by providing them with high-paying jobs in Japan, were discussed.
In particular, issues of driver training and employment were considered with the companies “Proud Partners” and “Izumi Logistics”. According to the Japanese side, there is a possibility of annually recruiting up to a thousand skilled workers from Uzbekistan.
It was also noted that about 100 candidates are currently undergoing training at the “Uzbekistan Proud Academy” center established in the city of Angren. It is planned that this figure will be increased to 300 people in 2026.
As part of the implementation and expansion of these projects, a visit to Uzbekistan by the President of “Proud Partners” Ryuji Suzuki, is planned.
During the trip, it is intended to review the activities of training centers and discuss new areas of cooperation. Furthermore, the launch of a new program is being considered, aimed at the training and employment in Japan of young IT specialists through language and professional preparation.
