MINSK, June 10. /Dunyo IA/. On June 9, the 33rd meeting of the Advisory Council of Heads of Consular Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the participating States of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Minsk under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

        The meeting brought together senior representatives of the consular departments of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of CIS member states, who discussed pressing issues related to the further development of consular cooperation.

        The agenda included matters such as the protection of citizens’ rights and legitimate interests, migration processes, digitalization of consular services, improvement of the quality of services provided to the public, and the enhancement of the treaty and legal framework in this field.

        As a result of the meeting, a number of agreements were reached aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the consular services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of CIS member states.
