A cultural and educational event was held in Madrid to mark the World Day of the Turkic Language Family, with participation from members of the diplomatic corps in Spain, representatives from the cultural and educational sectors and the diaspora from Turkic-speaking countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event aimed to introduce participants to the languages, literature and cultures of Uzbekistan, Türkiye and Azerbaijan, while also highlighting the closeness of Turkic-speaking peoples and the spirit of friendship and brotherhood among their nations.
As part of the program, thematic presentations were held on the role of Turkic languages in global civilization, focusing on the history, formation and development of Uzbek, Turkish and Azerbaijani as well as their shared features and unique characteristics.
An interactive segment enabled attendees to explore common proverbs and expressions in oral folk traditions, providing insight into the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Turkic countries.
The evening concluded with a tasting of national dishes from Uzbekistan, Türkiye and Azerbaijan. The cultural and educational event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving participants with lasting positive impressions and a deeper appreciation for the shared heritage of Turkic peoples.
