Bukhara exporters strengthen economic cooperation with Oman

MUSCAT, February 10. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of “Comfort Textile” LLC from Bukhara, Uzbekistan visited Oman to establish business connections and explore prospects for further cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
As part of their visit, the Uzbek business delegation toured the “Khazaen” Special Economic City in Muscat. During the presentation, it was highlighted that Khazaen functions as an integrated logistics and industrial hub, encompassing a special free economic zone, a dry port, warehouses, residential complexes and commercial facilities.
The centre was noted for providing world-class infrastructure, competitive investment incentives, attractive land lease rates, comprehensive services and a full support system for investors.
Discussions also focused on the potential for establishing textile production facilities within the economic zone, with a view to exporting products not only to the Omani market but also across the Gulf region and Africa.
The visit concluded with preliminary agreements reached, laying the groundwork for enhanced Uzbek - Omani commercial cooperation and potential joint investment projects in the near future.
