Open Dialogue with compatriots in Germany held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan

• 218BERLIN, April 20. /Dunyo IA/. An open dialogue featuring young compatriots was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by representatives of the delegation from the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, along with compatriots engaged in scientific research, as well as those working and studying at German universities.
The objective of the meeting was to establish a direct dialogue with young compatriots studying and working abroad, to listen to their concerns, and exchange views on potential solutions. Furthermore, the event aimed to introduce new initiatives in the fields of external migration and vocational education in Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov highlighted the ongoing reforms in the country aimed at providing comprehensive support to compatriots abroad, emphasizing that such meetings are a testament to the state’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens.
Azimjon Khusanov, Director of the Agency for Vocational Education, informed the participants about the extensive efforts to develop the national vocational training system and highlighted new approaches to youth skills development. He expressed readiness to consider the proposals and initiatives of compatriots in this field.
Elyor Toshtemirov, Deputy Director of the Migration Agency, provided the youth with detailed information on the regulation of labor migration processes, support measures for citizens working abroad and the activities of the Migration Fund established under the agency.
Specifically, it was noted that the Fund’s resources are utilized to facilitate the temporary employment of citizens abroad, protect their labor rights and provide training, legal aid, and emergency support in difficult situations. Furthermore, participants were informed about the channels for seeking assistance from overseas via the Agency’s dedicated hotlines.
Special attention was devoted to supporting youth initiatives and channeling their intellectual and professional potential toward the country’s development.
It was noted that such meetings align with the state policy of maintaining a constant dialogue with compatriots abroad, protecting their rights and legitimate interests, and elevating cooperation mechanisms to a new level.
In an open dialogue format, the delegation members emphasized that this meeting was a continuation of systemic efforts for targeted engagement with youth and the study of their proposals and initiatives.
At the conclusion of the event, the importance of holding such meetings regularly was highlighted, alongside addressing youth concerns through targeted outreach and further strengthening their bonds with Uzbekistan.
