Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Minister of State for Foreign Trade of Qatar discuss prospects for expanding cooperation

TASHKENT, May 20 /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met today with the Minister of State for Foreign Trade of Qatar Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, reports Dunyo correspondent.
“Had a substantive and productive meeting with H.E. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the State of Qatar, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Discussed promising avenues for further expanding the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Qatar, including cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, investment, finance, transport and logistics, energy, and infrastructure.
Emphasized the importance of fully utilizing the existing vast potential, deepening investment cooperation, and accelerating the implementation of joint projects.
Also invited the Qatari side to actively participate in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will take place in Tashkent this June”.
