HANGZHOU, March 21. /Dunyo IA/. An exhibition of Uzbek products was organized in the Chinese city of Hangzhou as part of the international “Export to China” exhibition, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The forum has been organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China since 2021 and aims to meet the growing demand of Chinese consumers for high-quality foreign goods, as well as to support international companies in promoting their products on the Chinese market.

This year, the exhibition was held from March 16 to 19 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. More than 350 manufacturers from 75 countries presented their products at the exhibition. Uzbekistan showcased its products under the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand at this prestigious event, including food products, soft drinks, sweets, saffron, grain products, as well as ceramics and other goods.

The opening ceremony was attended by China’s Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee Wang Hao. Together with members of the local government and other officials, they visited the Uzbek pavilion, expressing strong interest in Uzbekistan’s products and noting their quality and market demand.

Particular attention from exhibition participants was drawn to Uzbek wines, dried fruits, saffron, and ceramic products. Within the framework of the event, business contacts were established with local entrepreneurs, and B2B meetings were held, contributing to the development of trade between the countries.
