CAIRO, August 27. /Dunyo IA/. Leading Egyptian media outlets “Al-diplomasy” and “Almontasaf” have published analytical reports on a major study conducted by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, which surveyed more than 5,000 enterprises across the country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The “Al-diplomasy” publication provides extensive coverage of the structural shift taking place in Uzbekistan’s private sector — from the use of basic digital solutions toward deeper technological and operational modernization. It emphasizes that enterprises implementing a comprehensive package of three or more efficiency measures, including elements of artificial intelligence and energy-saving technologies, are experiencing increased demand, are 4.1 times more likely to reduce costs and are 2.1 times more likely to raise employee salaries by more than 10%.

The “Almontasaf” article focuses on the analysis of technology adoption levels and persistent regional disparities. It notes that while 94 percent of enterprises use basic digital tools and Tashkent leads in the adoption of comprehensive measures at 18 percent, the rate remains relatively low in a number of other regions. The publications emphasize that unlocking the full potential of businesses will require addressing shortages of qualified IT and engineering professionals, expanding regional support and transitioning to advanced in-house digital systems — findings that are fully consistent with the conclusions of the World Bank’s research.
